Q.        What thickness of yarns should I choose?

A.        This is your most important decision, and should be approached by starting with thinking about the end product.
What do you want to make with the yarn? If it is knitwear, there are three thickness grades to choose from.
If it is for weaving into cloth or for blankets and throws, then consult your weaver first and look at samples he will have of different weights and ask for a sample of yarn for us to match to. Remember that different breeds wool may come out slightly differently once it has been woven and finished. A full consultation with your weaver is important to make sure you will end up with the right cloth for the job.
